Children’s Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye) Treatment

If your child has red, sore, sticky or weeping eyes, they may have conjunctivitis. Our pharmacists can assess these symptoms and, where appropriate, supply funded treatment.

Who is this service for?

Children under 14 years of age with suspected acute conjunctivitis.

What will it cost?

With a Community Services Card: consultation copayment of $5.

Without a Community Services Card: consultation copayment of $20.

Medicines supplied may be fully funded.

Our team will check your child’s symptoms, advise on care at home, and let you know if funded treatment or a medical referral is the best option.
